Brad Davis

A local product, a rarity in the Myrtle Beach area golf industry, Brad is a 1985 graduate of Socastee High School. Brad played basketball at Socastee under legendary South Carolina High School basketball coach, Dan D'Antoni, for three years (now an assistant coach with the NBA's Los Angeles Lakers). He attended Coastal Carolina University from 1985 to 1988, and then entered the golf business at Burning Ridge GC as a cart attendant. Brad quickly became an assistant golf professional in 1989, and entered the PGA apprentice program later that year under Randy Broughton, a long time and well known PGA professional in the Carolinas Section of the PGA. During that time Brad learned the invaluable lessons of fantastic customer service, service to community and attention to detail, which is what defines him today as a Golf Professional. Brad was elected to class A membership in the PGA of America in February of  1994.  Brad has extensive experience in management as a General Manager, Director of Golf and Head Golf Professional in over 20 years in our local area golf industry. During that span, Brad has hosted and/or directed hundreds of tournaments and events.

Brad is married to wife Tammie, from Andrews, SC and has three children. Bradley (20) (College of Charleston), Pete (14)(St. James High School) Mikayla (9), and resides in Surfside Beach. Brad is the son of Col. (RET) Wayne Davis(USAF) and Dorie Davis and has three older brothers - John, Rock Hill SC, Mike, Myrtle Beach SC, Rick (COL.)(RET.) (USAF) Myrtle Beach, SC. and an older sister Deanna Dendy, Myrtle Beach SC. and  numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws whom also reside in the Myrtle Beach area and all over the country. When not working, Brad enjoys playing golf, hunting and spending time with his family.
